Our client, a supplier to the Oil and Gas industry is currently recruiting for an Area Manager. You will be reporting to the Regional Manager
Job Purpose
TO ACHIEVE SALES TARGET (Budget) WITH PROFITABLE MARGINS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR AS SET BY THE COMPANY.
Exposure: OIL AND GAS, POWER, WW and Other industries in KSA with sales and Marketing in the managerial capacity for over 5 yrs, Selling Industrial Valves.
Business development & Client Base : Direct exposure to carrying out Pre-qualification and approval of the company & Products with major clients like Aramco, SEC, SABIC etc. proven track record is preferred
Agencies : Exposure to handling agency business development
Framework, Decision Making Authority and Responsibility
TO ACHIEVE SALES TARGET WITH PROFITABLE MARGINS FOR THE FINACIAL YEAR. CLIENT BASE DEVELOPMENT, PROJECT HANDLING, COORDINATING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS FOR SMOOTH HANDLING OF JOBS. PROVIDING SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO TEAM IN ACHIEVING RESULTS.
WE ARE EMPOWERED TO TAKE DECISIONS IN THE FOLLOWING MATTERS
1) TO QUOTE WITH MARGINS AS DEMANDED BY THE MARKET /COMPETITION.
2) TO SOLVE THE CUSTOMER PROBLEMS INCLUDING WHERE FINANCIAL IMPACT IS INVOLVED.
3) TO DISCUSS AND ADVISE SALES INCENTIVE /COMMISSION TO OUR AGENTS
Accountabilities
• ACHEVING SALES W.R.T BUDGET FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR
• TO FOLLOW UP ON PAYMENTS
• PRESENTING MONTHLY/QUARTERLY/YEARLY REPORTS.
• KEEPING TRACK ON NEW PROJECTS.
• TO LOOK INTO PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH EPC CONTRACTORS & CONSULTANTS AND END USERS
• TO LOOK OUT FOR NEW PORODUCTS AND BE AGENTS.
• TO LOOK AFTER SALES PROMOTION.
• TO SOLVE PRODUCT COMPLAINTS ALONG WITH QC DEPARTMENT.
• TO FOLLOW UP ON PROJECT ENQUIRIES, MAKE QUOTES AND DO NECCEASSRY FOLLOW UPS TO CONVERT IN TO ORDERS
• FORWARD MONTHLY ORDER BOOKING DETAILS WITH EARNINGS
• TO FORWARD VIEWS TO THE MANAGEMENT ABOUT BUSINESS FORECASTS
• TO BE A TEAM PLAYER AND PROVIDE/TAKE SUGGESTIONS TO/FROM COLLEAGUES
• RECOMMENDING MAN POWER REQUIREMENTS IF FOUND NECCESSARY
• TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL TECHNICAL MATTERS ARE RESOLVED/UNDERSTOOD BEFORE FINAL PRODUCTION STARTS FOR ALL THE PRODUCTS INVOLVED
• TO ARRANGE/ATTEND KICK OFF MEETINGS AT MANUFACTURING PLANTS.
• TO LOOK INTO SALES OF NON MOVING STOCK ITEMS.
• TO MOTIVATE COLLEAGUES IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO WORK ENVIRONMENT
• TO INFORM ABOUT THE NEW COMPETITION EXPECTED IN THE FUTURE
• TO VISIT CLIENTS ALONG WITH PRINICIPALS FOR BUSINESS PROMOTION
• TO SOURCE FOR MATERIALS / MANUFACTURERS AND DEVELOP GOOD RAPPORT.
• TO NEGOTIATE WITH SUPPLIERS AND PLACEMENT OF ORDERS
• TO MONITOR THE ORDER EXECUTION INTERNALLY & PROMPT DELIVERY
• TO CORRECT FROM THE FAILURES
• TO INFORM CLIENT ABOUT MARKET TREND IN THE RAW MATERIALS COST & AVAILABILITY.
• TO MONITOR THE POLITICAL BALANCE IN THE COUNTRY & INTERNATIONAL AND VISION.
• TO MONITOR THE RISK FACTOR IN THE PROJECTS / EXECUTION
• TO FOLLOW MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES FOR THE OVERALL GROWTH OF THE COMPANY.
